Fleur de la prairie is a Geotrichum candidum rind bloomy rind, similar to our black goat but no ash. We decorate the rounds with dried herbs and edible flowers from our farm's herb garden and from a local flower farm.  Each round weighs approximately 6-7 oz. Shelf life (if sold young) is about one month. 2021 Good Food Award Winner!  Culture Magazine's Summer Cheese Centerfold AND 2022 American Cheese Society 1st Place Medal. Available as 100% goat milk from early April through mid-October.
