Our nod to camembert (a bloomy rind cheese from Normandy France), little bloom is a mixed cow-goat milk cheese for most of the year (except Jan-March). It has a delicate white mushroomy rind (totally edible) with a mild, buttery paste. As the cheese ages, it becomes gooey at the edges and stronger in flavor (think buttered mushrooms). Available by itself, but pairs perfectly with any of our jams, crackers, salamis or rustic baguette (all can be ordered a la carte in the online store).

Keep refrigerated and temper for 30 minutes prior to enjoyment. This cheese is alive and continues to ripen in the ripening paper over time. It will get more gooey and stronger in flavor as it ages.
