Caprae at Prairie Fruits Farm
SEASONAL DINNER SERIES
Join us at Caprae on select evenings for a true celebration of local flavor, where each meal reflects the best of Midwest agriculture. Executive Chef Garron Sanchez or invited guest chefs craft multi-course, slow food experiences that highlight the integrity of seasonal ingredients. Our menus showcase vegetables, herbs, and fruits organically grown right here on our farm or sourced from our neighbors. Paired with our own artisan cheeses and freshly baked bread, every dish invites you to savor the richness of our region in an elevated yet welcoming setting.
Your evening will start with a welcome hour where guests can enjoy beverages while exploring the farm or resting under our pavilion, followed by an optional short tour of the farm before seating for a chef-led five course meal.
Dinner tickets include non-alcoholic beverages, taxes, and gratuity.
Wine, beer and cocktails are available for purchase at the farm, or you can pre-purchase a beverage add-on to your meal that includes a welcome cocktail and two pours of paired wines with dinner.
While we understand that dietary preferences and restrictions can vary, please note that our Farm-to-Table dinners feature pre-fixed menus that our chef carefully curates to provide a unique and cohesive dining experience. As such, we are unable to offer substitutions for these events. We can accommodate gluten, nut and seafood allergies with advance notice. We also offer a monthly vegetarian dinner. As we are a working dairy, our goat's milk and our farmstead artisan cheeses play an important role in many dishes and as such, vegan or dairy-free requests may not be able to be accommodated.
We look forward to welcoming you to the farm!
DETAILS
While we strive to create an elegant, peaceful and delicious evening for our guests, this is a working farm and most meals are served outdoors. Outdoor events can be subject to inclement weather, insects and the occasional scent of our lovely does and baby kids. Our welcome hour is typically enjoyed outside, and seating for dinner may be inside our dining room or outside under our pavilion based on service needs and weather conditions.
Dress is very flexible--some folks go "farm fancy," while others dress casually. Come as you are most comfortable.

Our policy regarding children and pricing: Given the limited number of seats for each dinner, we are not able to offer a reduced price on meals for children. Also, some of the dinners include wine or beer with the meal. We don't prohibit people from bringing their children; however, you will be charged the full price for their ticket. We encourage parents to truly consider if their child will enjoy the experience before choosing to purchase them a ticket.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Once you purchase tickets they are transferable to other people, but are NOT REFUNDABLE and cannot be changed to another date without 72 hours advance notice.
WAITING LIST POLICY: We may open up a wait list for a given dinner if warranted. If a waitlist is an option for a given meal, it will display as a selection when making a reservation.
